Description and video
Airtight climate cabinet for powder storage
The TiDry-150 is a climate cabinet designed specifically for the storage of metal powders used in 3D printing processes. The chamber is equipped with a system that establishes and maintains an inert gas atmosphere inside, as well as a system for heating the interior of the chamber.
This prevents oxidation of the powder and extends its shelf life. Heating protects against moisture condensation, which matters for hygroscopic metal powders, including titanium and aluminium.
The chamber structure is made entirely of stainless steel, which facilitates cleaning and minimizes the risk of powder contamination. Four wheel assemblies with adjustable leveling feet allow for easy relocation.
Benefits
Safe powders, safe products
Construction
All parts that come into contact with the powder are made of industrial-grade stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance, easy cleaning, and eliminating the risk of material contamination.
Protective atmosphere
The integrated system enables maintaining an inert gas atmosphere (e.g. argon or nitrogen), effectively eliminating the risk of oxidation and powder degradation, a significant advantage over typical drying cabinets.
Active heating system
The ability to heat the cabinet interior in a controlled way prevents moisture condensation and additionally protects hygroscopic metal powders, including titanium and aluminium.
Mobility and stability
Four sets of industrial wheels with adjustable feet allow for easy movement and precise leveling of the cabinet, even on uneven surfaces.
Tightness and reliability
High tightness allows for long-term maintenance of parameters without the continuous addition of inert gas, significantly reducing operating costs.
Atmosphere control
Controlled oxygen content in the atmosphere of the cabinet chamber. The user can set an upper limit for the oxygen level, up to a maximum of 1000 ppm.
Sensors
Measurement of oxygen content, pressure, and temperature inside the chamber.
Economy of operation
The chamber uses small amounts of argon or nitrogen.
Quality guarantee
The 3D printing powder stored in the chamber will maintain the highest quality for a long period of time.
TiDry-150 is not just a cabinet
It is a guarantee of your powder quality and the repeatability of the 3D printing process.
